I went to the temple one Monday morning to help clean it. I did a lot of vacuuming and some dusting
Afterwards I went and saw Lisa. It was so good to see her and catch up. We both cried just b/c we had missed each other so much and I cried quite a bit on the drive home just b/c life is so hard for her and it's just not fair! Hoping to see her monthly now that I'm home!

This was little daunting...all this stuff that we had packed up before we left and now we had to put it all back in. After living with so little for the past 9 months it felt a little excessive to have so much stuff. Embarrassing really!

Cam's room is finished! She will eventually have an art room (in Alli's room after Alli heads back to school) so all of her art stuff went to the preschool room for the summer which meant it didn't have to be stored in her room!
I was so happy to make cookies again :) Cam and I really missed baking while we were traveling!
This is still the craziest thing! These fish were on our dock and we don't know the story of how they got there. I'm going with the little one was trying to get away from the big one and jumped and landed on the dock and the big one was so close behind he jumped as well and bam they are both dead on the dock. The other theory is that a bird dropped them
Kimber and JJ came to visit and brought us this beautiful picture of Ollie they ordered for us and his urn and collar. We really miss our pup! It was really hard coming home and having him not be here. So many things still remind us of him (I'm typing this in November 2025) everyday.
All dressed up for the Kendrick Lamar concert. Kimber got JJ tickets for this concert for Christmas and they were so excited about it. It ended up being a huge disappointment b/c the tickets weren't real and they had to stand in the pouring rain trying to get it fixed, but in the end there was nothing to be done to fix it and they didn't want to pay the crazy amount for new tickets so they just had to drive back home. They did got get some dinner for their date night, but still not the same.

Alli and I were driving down to the church to play volleyball when all of the sudden we felt this big bang. We looked around and couldn't see anything so we were very confused. Then I see a motorcyclist getting up off the ground and my first reaction was to freak out b/c I just hit a motorcycle but then I remember I had been at a complete stop when he hit us. His bike had decorative spikes on it and one of them imbedded itself in my car. Other than that, you couldn't even tell we had been in an accident. We eventually made it to volleyball and played a game or two before headed home. It was such an annoying morning!
