Last week of December

 Camryn and Konrad's team had a volleyball tournament.  I took these pictures after their first win and had them do the #1 for when they won the next match!  They crushed it and won the tournament :)

We got to play a 6 person game of Canasta and the kids played Telestrations in the dining room

Grandpa slow-mo spilled his soda all over code names and we all had a good laugh!

We tried to recreate this picture and did okay, but a few people weren't quite in the right spot, plus some had grown too much to stand where they did originally :)

We went and saw Cinderella at the Village Theater in Issaquah,  It was a modernized performance.  We all enjoyed it!  Allison ended up having to work so Klara came in her place and even got to spend the night :)

and now actually snuggling with Konrad a tiny bit...that isn't Ollie's favorite thing to do, he wants to be close, but not touching most of the time!

Christmas

 It was really weird not having Kimber (and JJ) here for Christmas and we missed them big time!

Sam's big present from us was a ski pass so there weren't many presents under the tree for them

Allison's big present was a phone that she got for her birthday AND Christmas so she also didn't have many gifts under the tree 

Konrad doesn't like presents very much so I tried really hard to only get him something if he asked for it. He asked for 2 things, so I didn't do very well b/c I did put stuff in his stocking and get one extra thing.  Oh I also filled the trunk of the Tesla with Diet Mt. Dew for him as well.

I love that they were opening something they each loved at the same time and their facial expressions were pretty similar :)

We were on the way to the Crabtree's when we were asked to wait about 30 more minutes before heading over, so we stopped at my parents and watched them and the Kenyon's open presents.  

We played Ransom Note at Ken and Sara's (as well as opened presents, ate a yummy brunch, and played some other games).  They didn't' realize Kimber and JJ were not here for Christmas so they had the table set for 9 and made plenty of food for JJ.  Oops!

We did dinner at our house and played more games.  

My gifts.  Sam was super sweet and filled that pitcher with kind notes.  Made me cry a few times!  Unfortunately I broke that pitcher before I even used it.  It came tumbling out of the cupboard and cracked.  Sad face!

Such a fun family day and I loved having church on Christmas to bring in the Reason for the Season!

Christmas Eve

 I decided Christmas eve morning that we should decorate sugar cookies with the Riding's so Cam helped me make the cookies while we waited for siblings to wake up.  

Christmas Eve starts with Monkey Bread and a Christmas movie (this year we watched Noelle...one of my very favorite new movies) for Christmas4Ian.

love these 3 :) Kenna is the glue b/c Jack and Alli don't spend a ton of time together, but when Kenna is around they all 3 do all the things!
