Soccer Banquet

Allison had her soccer banquet last Friday.  Once again she loved the entire season and can't wait for Spring so she can play again!

I thought this cupcake-cake was super cute.

Halloween 2013

We had a great Halloween this year. 

I had a fun preschool party.

Before the girls left for school:

Sam had a "harvest party" at school.  Which consisted of an art project and some treats.  Nothing Halloween-y. 

Allison's Harvest party will be in November, so she didn't anything extra at school. 

When I went up to check the girls room that day I found Alli's bed like this:  She loves making her bed :)

I tried out a new treat that day...and I LOVED it!  Pretzels, candy melts, and candy corn.  Yum!

 Before trick or treating we had dinner with our neighbors.  Yummy soups and pasta.  Such a fun tradition I love it.  Sometimes we do it here, sometimes there.  Love it!

 After dinner we ran home to take some pictures of our costumes:

 My cute skeleton.  This is the first baby thing we bought when I was first pregnant, I thought it was going to be too big for her b/c it looked huge hanging in her closet.  But she obviously decided to grow big and it fit.  Boo!

 Fairy Princess.  She wanted to be a fairy princess so that she could wear this awesome blue mask and my old crown, but both were to0 annoying for her.  She still looked cute though!

 7 kids and 7 bags of candy on the floor.  Yum!!!

Konrad took the girls out trick or treating, while Cam and I stayed home and passed out candy to the trick or treaters.  My sisters family and my dad came over as well to go around our neighborhood with my kids (even though all my girls but Sam ended up ditching them...)

Pumpkin Patch/Dairy Farm

Every year I take my preschool class on a field trip to a dairy farm turned pumpkin patch (always a dairy farm other than during October).  We learn all about dairy cows and how much they eat and drink, as well as where they sleep and play. 

This year the field trip fell on a late-start day for the elementary school so I decided to bring Sam and Allison along with me.  Because of the late start they were only 20 minutes late to school, missing lunch (which they ate in the car), so it worked out pretty well. 

Sam and Allison were so excited to come with, they had been begging to go to a pumpkin patch all season.

THE favorite spot...the corn box!!!

 All my cute kids' boots lined up.  The farmer who was in charge of our group said she had never seen a group with so many boots :)  Can you tell we normally end up there on a horribly wet and muddy day?  Those moms were prepared!  BUT we lucked out this year and it was gorgeous!

Middle School Choir Concert

Kimber had her first of many choir concerts a few weeks ago.  It was fun to listen to her group and see their awesome dance moves :)  Kimber also had a solo in one of the songs!  She did amazing!

I'm a little sad that she doesn't get to experience a cummerbund/bow tie combo in her middle school choir!  (I always thought it was cumberbund, but google tells me it's not :))
We also got to watch the Show Choir, which is pretty fun b/c the boys and girls have to dance together and they are still at the age where it seems to be a little painful to touch someone of the opposite sex.  Pretty cute!

Fiddler On the Roof - Stake Play 2013

Kimber chose to participate in the play Fiddler on the Roof put on by our Stake.  She was one of the older village daughters.  She didn't get much stage time, but she still enjoyed the performances (not so much the practices :)) and the friends she got to hang out with. 

She was only on the actual stage for one song and sang 2 other songs from the sidelines.  Here are a bunch of pictures of her and my friend Mel, who played an amazing Golde!

Kimber can't wait for the next one.  Crazy to think she'll be turning 16 then!!  Wowza!
