March Photo Dump

We must have had a little snow in March...this winter all just blended together, I'm not sure what happened when :)

 We celebrated Tami with smoothies at the church for her birthday

 Allison played basketball.  Konrad coached. 

 Cam learned that eating cake with your fingers doesn't work very well, it's not like a cupcake after all!

Kimber and Sam after mutual one night.  Kimber almost always sits down and plays the piano while we are finishing up the activity.  Their paintings, that they made at mutual, are on piano.

 Allison needed a room intervention:

 So much better now.  (it is now May and she has done a great job keep it up...hasn't even come close to this point in almost 2 months!)

 Not sure why she thought she had to store all these kitchen items in her room...we do have cupboards for all of them!

 One morning we walked down the stairs and Camryn exclaimed "sunshine!!".  It had been awhile. Even 3 year old Cam was surprised!

 Cam spent most of March cutting paper and gluing it back together in different shapes.  She loves making things. 

 Went on little walk for preschool to see how many cars and trucks we could find. 

 Finally painted the rest of the master bathroom.  The topiary is no longer above the toilet.  I know, it's sad.  I need to take an after picture...

 Loved how she was sitting watching "her shows" wearing an apron made by the Jenni Warner. 

 My Grandma Carlson turned 90 so we sent my mom a text to show her our Happy Birthday message.

 Sawyer came and hung out with us one morning. 

 Konrad got me this cool "hidden" shelf thing that you hang on your door hinges.  It was so nice to move stuff out of cupboard and store it in this unused space behind the laundry room door.  It's pretty amazing!

Grandma Crabtree's Graveside Service

Grandma Arvilla Crabtree passed away on March 28th, 2017.  While we were sad we were also grateful.  Her last few years on earth haven't been easy for her, or for those that care for her.  I believe she is in a better, happier place now.  Reunited with Grandpa and smiling.  We loved her greatly and will miss her for sure.  We are grateful we were able to attend this graveside service and for the years that we lived near her and for the chance we had to have her in our lives. 

 

 Grandma and Grandpa are buried at the same cemetery as Ian, so the girls (and my mom) went up to visit him after the service. 

 Cam wanted to go as well.  She was doing really great until she hit the road.  She just stopped and waited.  I had to run over and help her cross it.  Such a good little rule follower!

 

 We went to lunch at Mitzel's with Grandpa and Grandma Crabtree and Grandpas siblings (and Kim and Ryan Anderson).

 Then we headed over to Lakeland Hills to take a picture of Ken and his siblings in front of the sign that Ken helped build on the "property".
