New Beginnings -- Allison turns 12 this year!

I was in charge of making dessert for new beginning this year.  We were doing a "seed" theme so I made cup of dirt.

Kimber was home sick with a fever and wasn't able to attend.  We missed her!  (little did we know it was the start of mono...)

February Photo Dump

Konrad took Lily Molen to a Daddy Daughter dance at her school b/c Aaron was unable to attend.  He and Lily had a great time!

I think I figured out why she wanted Konrad to take her. Kimber told me about this convo they had earlier this week:

Lily: Is your dad a dentist or an orthodontist?
Kimber: No
Lily: So he doesn't know anything about teeth???
Kimber: No
Lily: Then I can eat all the candy I want!!!!

My view the morning after we got back from Cabo.  Coming home to this makes leaving vacation a little bit easier!

Last morning in Cabo

Konrad and I took one more walk down to the beach before we had to head to the airport.

I was super excited to see a water spout out in the water (I'm thinking this is one of my talents...spotting whales :)). 

 And then he started jumping:

 Konrad had the drone and was able to send it out and capture the whale on video as well.  It's an amazing video!

One last picture of the beach and we had to head back up the hill and leave for the airport. 

It was an amazing family trip and I'm so glad we had this time together.

Cabo Day 6

We spent the morning at our beach and the afternoon hanging out with the Baumgartner's at their resort.  We had one day that our trips overlapped and had a blast spending the day with friends in Cabo!  Next time we should go together!

 Cam was loving her hat Kimber bought for her on a trip to Target before we left on the trip:

I became obsessed with sea glass this trip.  I haven't been to a beach where there was enough of it to try and collect it.  I spent this morning gathering as much as possible for our vacation jar I would make when we got home.  Between the sea glass and white coral I found some pretty stuff!

 Sam came and helped for bit:

 We went home for lunch and to make a pina colada (can you see Allison drinking hers by the pool?)

Then we headed to San Jose Del Cabo to meet up with the Baumgartner's.  The girls absolutely loved being at a resort.  Especially one that gave you all the food and drinks you wanted.  For free.  We really need to try out an all inclusive sometime. 

Camryn turned into a little fish this day.  She was swimming from person to person.  Jumping in and swimming back to the wall.  And her favorite was having Tami throw her to me (Tami could throw her higher...I lost that coolness battle :)).
