Luquillo, Puerto Rico

We got dinner at a food truck and it was yummy!

 

Thanksgiving in Puerto Rico

 We were small in numbers but we had a great Thanksgiving!

In the morning we took a beautiful walk on the beach

And then we came home and prepped our sweet potatoes and green bean casserole and jello, for our feast later that day.

Then we headed to the beach to play:

Cam wasn't feeling super great so we took her home and then Konrad and I headed to the pool to check it out.  I hadn't gone yet b/c I was worried it would be too hot without the ocean breeze.  Definitely warmer there than at the ocean, but the pool felt nice and refreshing (I wouldn't mind it being a few degrees cooler....I have the same thoughts about the ocean :)). 

We saw some pretty big iguanas.

Then we headed home to make dinner.  We got a rotisserie chicken for Konrad and our sides were mashed potatoes (I added too much milk and didn't have a hand mixer so they weren't the best I've ever made), sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, jello, corn, cheese slices, and rolls.  It was pretty yummy and we enjoyed the left over for a few days.  

Then we went to the movies and saw Moana 2!  Cheap tickets, popcorn, and soda.  We got 3 tickets a large popcorn and giant soda for $33!  We loved the movies.  

After the movie we came home and made cookies then had dessert while we watched Alone on Netflix

Meanwhile Kimber, jj, and Alli were in Gilbert with the Riding family and had a wonderful long weekend!  Sam ended up sick (fever, chills, headache) so they and Morgan stayed in Flagstaff and made their own Thanksgiving dinner on Friday.  

Alli scored a game winning touchdown in flag football that morning :)
