All Things Halloween

Camryn wanted to be Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter and was so excited when it was finally time to put on her costume.  She is such a cute Luna!

The first Halloween event was a trunk or treat at her school.  

For orange and black day we added some decorations to her hair :)

Cam was Winnie the Pooh for the ward trunk or treat, which was the same day as Allison's 2nd homecoming so once again Konrad took her down to the church to participate.

Taco Time for dinner before we headed to meet the Dances in Quiet Water and Ian and Alli went to Ian's house.  

Jack was a lego guy and even had some girls ask to take a picture with him :)

Candy sorting and trading! Coleman doesn't like candy so he will trade anything light for anything heavier so that he can take it to Molen's Orthodontics and sell it to them for $2 a pound :)

October Fun

We had a beautiful warm day at the pumpkin patch!  October was full of 70/80 degree days this year!!!

Elizabeth and Natalie came over after school.  These 3 are hilarious!

Cara Compton brings me 2 cupcakes each week.  I bought them for a fundraiser they were doing and they were so yummy and something so fun to look forward to each week!

I really love pumpkin chocolate chip cookies and every year when I make them I think of the first time I made them with my cousin Kallie in my Wymount Apartment at BYU.  The only canned pumpkin I had every used was pumpkin pie filling, which has all the spices mixed in already so it looks and smells different than regular canned pumpkin.  I didn't know there was difference though so we wasted 3-4 cans thinking it must have went bad or something.  I think we made two trips to the store to buy new pumpkin.  In the end we just decided to try it out and see what happened.  Of course they were delicious and we laughed at ourselves.  Every year I open a can of pumpkin I laugh at that memory from my beginning baking days!

It was so nice one Sunday afternoon that we headed to Allen York to play volleyball.  Not the best volleyball happened, but we did have a fun time and laughed ourselves silly when Konrad had to keep going in the water to rescue the ball :)

Kimber turned 22!!!  Look at that cute little face from years back!

Now all grown and beautiful!

She had a pretty exciting 21st year!  Can't wait to see what this year brings (a wedding for one thing!!!)

Konrad and Aaron at Troy and Vicki's wedding shower.  I was in Phoenix so I wasn't able to attend and the joke started that I was in the cooler that Konrad gave to Troy and Vicki as their wedding shower gift.  People were texting me to "check" on me :)

This girl has become obsessed with Winnie the Pooh and was so excited when I found this onesie in the bottom of Allison's closet!

She got to go to Dave and Busters with Chayla and her family (one last hurrah before they moved to Arizona!) she won the big jackpot of tickets!
