Super cute treat from a restaurant in SeaTac

The mountain is out!

Love all the water near where we live:

When flew into San Jose and then drove to Santa Cruz.  We checked into our hotel and then drove down to the Boardwalk area of Santa Cruz.  We couldn't find a parking spot to find dinner, so we ended up just stopping and getting some Thai food, as well as stopping at Safeway to get Diet Mt. Dew and some snacks/desserts, and took it back to the hotel.  

Breakfast of Champions!  I was too full for dessert the night before so this became breakfast :)

Then we drove down to Capitola, again b/c we couldn't find parking at the Santa Cruz warf (we realized later there was a triathalon going on that weekend!) and walked around and got some lunch/dinner.  

Sunday morning we packed up and checkout of the hotel.  

Ate a yummy breakfast at Auntie Mame's.  Where we realized that Konrad's credit card was missing so we went back to the hotel and luckily found it laying on the bed under his pillow :)

Then we drove down to the warf again, this time running into the actual triathalon, but we did find some parking!, and to the Lighthouse Point.  

We watched the surfers and a sea otter (in the middle of the picture)

Then it was time to drive back to San Jose to fly home.  I loved being in California but still being surrounded by evergreen trees!

We stopped in the cutest town (Los Gatos), that is way to expensive or I might just move there, for a an acai bowl!

We saw Ollie's twin:

Seriously though.  Evergreens, palm trees, and sunshine.  I was one happy girl1

It was so nice to get away with Konrad.  We are approaching our 22nd wedding anniversary and celebrated a couple of weeks early!  Cam stayed at Steph's house and Allison at Gabby's.  Fun was had by all!

Week 38 (Sept 20 - Sept 26)

Lunch at the YMCA :)  There was a Thai food truck down there so we went to check it out.  Not the best, but still good and the sun was shining.  It was a win :)

Week 37 (Sept 13th - Sept. 19th)

Allison had a game at Sumner High School. So weird being in that gym and not being a Sumner fan.  So fun to run into Jordyn there!

Kat was taking Cam to school for the first couple of week.  She sent me this picture of them in the drop off line :)

I put up a little back drop the first day of preschool for the parents to take pictures.  

We survived the 1st day!

My mom and Chelle drove through Boise and stopped to see Kimber and JJ.  I was pretty jealous they got to see her!

Another day, another game.  

They lost and Al was bummed.  Cam helped her feel better :)

Chelle and my mom also got to see Sam that same weekend.  Sam made Chelle her breakfast one morning :)

I had to prepare a talk and the power had went out.  Cutting and pasting to the rescue :)

• My dad had covid this week.  Luckily it never got too bad and he felt better as each day went on.  I did one grocery trip for him, but otherwise he just chilled at home working and doing yard work.  He had a tree fall during our weekend storm that he cut down.
