November Photo Dump

 My afternoon class loves Wednesdays when the garbage man comes and they all run and wave and get so pumped when he honks and waves at them!

Love my morning walks with Ollie b/c I get to see some amazing sights.  We live in such a beautiful part of the world!

I loaded up the car to take stuff to Value Village...I tried to tell Ollie not to get in b/c this stuff wasn't coming back but he wouldn't listen.  Lucky for him he chose to jump out before I left :)

We had a scary laundry situation where the lint in the bottom of the dryer caught on fire, or at least was smoldering.  It smelled horrible and luckily we smelled it and stopped the dryer and Konrad took it apart to clean it out.  Some of the wiring was even melted.  I am so grateful my house is still standing!

Konrad got the craziest wedding present for Troy and Vicki.  It was based on an inside joke from their wedding shower where it was questioned if I had been chopped up and put in a cooler b/c I wasn't able to attend the shower.  He is pretty creepy at times!

At Troy and Vicki's reception Camryn took off with Sawyer, which meant they were for sure on an adventure.  Sure enough I found them by peaking out this back door, being sneaky!

November/December was very full of germs in preschool.  One day we started with 4 friends!

2 more came, but you can tell by their sad faces they miss their friends!

Thanksgiving Break

Kimber and JJ were able to come home for Thanksgiving and it was so fun to have them here for a week!

Alex and Kevin came to visit one night and they brought their dog (Ollie's first dog visitor IN our house they were CRAZY! but had so much fun).  Kimber, Kevin, and Alex went to school together from Kindergarten to 8th grade.  It's crazy to see them all grown up and being adults!

I don't work the week of Thanksgiving which meant I was able to go to Camryn's school to watch their reading of Stone Soup and enjoy a bowl of soup with the class.  These two (that is Dashiel) used to be each other's favorites in Kindergarten and 1st, but that darn boy/girl thing seems to have taken affect and they aren't besties anymore.  

The Stone Soup the class made.  Everyone brought a contribution and there was a prize if you actually got a stone in your bowl of soup.  Sadly Cam and I did not get one.

We had some beautiful weather that week.  Kimber and JJ did a little photo shoot with Allison at the dog park during a walk one day.  

We got to go watch Camryn's volleyball game.  This was one crazy game b/c the coach on the other team was really struggling following directions and kept standing too close to the ref (as pictured) even though he asked her at least 20 times to stay behind the 10 foot line.  She kept running on the to court to adjust her players, even though he asked her not to.  In the end we decided she was probably on some thing and definitely should not have been coaching.  It was the craziest thing we've ever seen at a game!

We drove to Seattle to test some wedding cakes.  

While we were there we decided to go and see the gingerbread houses at the Sheraton and walk around down town a bit.  

The kids were pretty grossed out by the gum wall.  Cam said there was no way she would put a piece of gum on it.  

We got these pretty flowers for Sara to bring on Thanksgiving.  I loved the ghourd in there :)

Trying the cakes!  They were so yummy! I believe Kimber and JJ chose red velvet with chocolate frosting for their little cutting cake and they will do all 3 flavors as cupcakes for the guests. (Salted caramel, lemon, and red velvet...the cupcakes might get cream cheese frosting though)

Thanksgiving at the Crabtree's

Sam was in Arizona with my parents, the Kenyons, and Aunt Nancy and Uncle Bert.  The Dances had their own Thanksgiving at home b/c they ended up with Covid the weekend before.  Sad day.  

Ollie would like them to play with him rather than play Mario Kart the Switch.
