Happy 7th Birthday Allison! Part 3: Barbie Birthday Bash

Allison wanted a Barbie party this year.  The girls came dressed to impressed and we did all things Barbie.  Hair, nails, makeup, and hair accessories.

Instead of a big barbie cake we decided to use Polly Pockets and stick them in cupcakes.  The Polly's are a little too small, so the proportions aren't awesome, but the girls thought they were cute.

Kimber was our make up artist and nail painter.  They also played Barbies.
The girls designed their clips and Konrad glued them all together...he was gluing for the better part of an hour :)
Sam was in charge of hair clips and necklaces.
Alli chose to crimp her hair, rather than curl it.
After everyone was all pretty we did a little photo shoot:

Then it was time for presents, followed by cake:

The celebrations are now over....it's been a fun week.  Happy Birthday Allison!

Happy 7th Birthday Allison! Part 2: Real Birthday

Today is Allison's birthday.  It was also Super-Hero Day at school.

Alli was super Kitty :)
 Sam was Aqua Girl:

Kimber was going to be Cat Woman, so she wore all black, but I don't think that is what she really called herself at school.  Kinda "too cool" to dress up, I guess???
Alli had a friend over after school and waited patiently for Konrad to get home so she could open presents.

Alli likes to pose with every present.  She wants a picture of each and every one.

 tissue paper/wrapping paper celebration :)
This was followed by dinner at McDonald's and then coming home and watching her new Barbie Princess and a Popstar movie.  Tomorrow is her Barbie party.  Stay tuned for Part 3!

Happy 7th Birthday Allison! Part 1: Family Party

Grandpa always makes things crazy when he comes.  They were excited that he would get on the trampoline with them (we were too...grandpa and kids outside equals a quiet house :))

 Kimber, Steph, Doug, Grandma Leanne:
 Coleman and Samantha:
Grandpa Crabtree showed up with some crazy hair....
We were celebrating Alli and Kenzie's birthday's together (their birthdays are a week apart).  She was super excited to get a Dora doll.
We had our friend Anna staying with us that weekend.  She took an instant liking to Grandpa (they had played together at soccer the morning before) and he was excited to have someone new to play his "tricks" on.  Here he is convincing her to hit his hand as hard as she can...meanwhile he will move his hand.  No worries, she wasn't hurt playing this game :)  She just laughed and laughed and laughed.
Alli got some pants that were more Kimber's size...Kimber tried to steal them.  Alli didn't like that idea :)
Allison got a new blanket from Grandma Leanne.  Her old one was falling to pieces.
An "American Girl" doll...fake one from Walmart :)

Getting ready for us to sing:

Grandpa Crabtree brought a balloon animal kit...the kids loved it.  Sam especially :)
Thanks for coming family!  We love you guys!
