Fun things in May

Camryn loves Bullseye, the dog at Target.  This was a good day. She actually got to get out of the cart and give him a love!

 Had a fun BYU roommate get-together with the Wards and Gumms.  So fun to see everyone together again.

 Konrad got me some chocolate strawberries for Mother's Day!  Yum!

 And he bought me 200 helps on Word Brain :)

 Camryn is taking a Preschool Sports Class at the YMCA.  She was a bit of a stinker the first day, hoping next week goes better!

 She is always hiding from me...

 She also got to start Ballet and was so very excited!  She loved her ballerina clothes!

 We skipped school and went to Olive Garden and Target instead :) 

 Allison participated in her school's jog-a-thon and ran 61 laps!  They only had to run 36, but she wanted to see how many she could get in during the 30 minutes.  She ran almost 4 miles.  Crazy!  She said the only person she knew of that got higher had 66.  I was impressed!

 A rainy day means rainboots and "a brella". 

 Our first rainy cold soccer game in forever happened this morning.  Brr!!! 

Cam comes in to snuggle in the mornings.  Makes me sad I never did this with my other girls.  I was just never awake at this time, but now that the older girls get up early, I'm awake early, so I let her come in earlier than I would have let the other girls.  Sad. 

 Allison took track after school for a few weeks and it ended with a multi-school track meet.  She had a lot of fun and enjoyed her time. 

 Cam and I went and bought strawberries at a u-pick farm so we could make jam for family night.

A Fun Week: Tiffany Came to Visit and I went to see Katie

It was so fun to spend some time with Tiffany! 

After some shopping and lunch at Olive Garden Tiff came to Sam's last volleyball game:

 Then we had her and Ken and Sara over for dinner and games that night.  Grandma had these cool wish papers that we had to try out...

 The next day was more shopping and lunch at Azteca.  Yum!  Love this lady and it was so good to see her.  Wish they would come back home... ;)

 A few days later I was off to Las Vegas to see Katie.  I got to spend some time with this cute girl.  Can't believe how big Macie has gotten.  It was so nice to hear Miss Ashlee again...made me feel like me again!  Can't wait for preschool to start again and have that part of my life back!

 We spent the entire weekend talking.  The first night at the hotel we talked and talked and talked, until we realized it was 10:45 and we hadn't had dinner yet.  We made an epic trip to a scary Smith's and then stopped by Taco Bell.  Livin' it up!

The next day we sat by the pool and talked some more.  Man do I miss seeing her weekly!

 That night we decided to pull ourselves off the couch and hit the strip for a bit.  We went to Mexican for dinner and then watched the Blue Man Group.  Here we are 2pac style!

It was a fun show...probably not my favorite thing I've ever seen in Vegas, but it was fun. 

The next day was more pool and more talking.  I think we eventually had a 5 minutes period where it was quiet...but that didn't happen until the last hour of our being together. 

Seriously love Katie and am so glad I got to go see her! 

Camryn's 3rd Birthday

Camryn has been waiting and waiting for her birthday.  She was super excited when it finally came!

 Rylee brought her a present, delivered by jet ski:

 She wanted purple presents, a purple cake, purple sprinkles, and purple candles.  Oh and purple forks!

  Etsy saved the day and I found some cute PJ Masks items:

 We were so glad Tiffany could be there for this family occasion!

We are so thankful that Camryn is in our family.  She definitely makes us all smile and I am thankful everyday that I get to spend time with her.  She helped heal a hole in my heart and made life just a little bit easier. 

Some fun things about Camryn:

• She says some fun words:  mysterlee (mystery), diagnosis (thanks Doc. McStuffins), gooowd idea, Pimberlynn, Ad (Al),
• She loves music and knows many songs on the radio.  Her favorites right now are No by Megan Trainer and 7 Years.  She still asks to listen to Frozen songs in Konrad's car.
• She loves her classes at YMCA
• She often says she is shy when she doesn't want to do something
• She only takes a nap about twice a week
• She still has her bottle :(  but only uses it for a few minutes each day...can't get her to drink milk any other way.  
• She has been potty trained since January
• She loves PJ Masks and loves when we play with her
• She used to call herself Kitty Lily (for about 6 months) and would get made if you called her Camryn
• Now she says her name is Camryn Crabtree
• She called Konrad "puppy" for those same 6 months...we are all kind of sad that phase of kitty/puppy is over.  It was pretty cute.  My favorite was when she would say things like "When puppy gets home he'll read me a book"  
• She loves nursery
• She is excited to go to preschool at her house and have me be her teacher.  She tells everyone.
• She loves to show everyone what she is wearing and that is typically what she does when she first sees someone new.  
•  She loves banana muffins and yogurt for breakfast.  Then normally wants some cereal as well.  
• She is my first child that eats big enough meals that she rarely asks for a snack.
• When she grows up she wants to play volleyball, basketball, and soccer like her sisters.  
• I love how she calls the girls her sisters "are my sister's home yet?" "are my sisters still sleeping" "when my sisters get home..."
• She loves reading stories, playing games, and playing with Konrad
• She still loves TV, but she can actually remove herself from the room during a show now.
• She loves that it is Spring and often tells people that it is Spring.
• She is almost 4! :) (it's going to be a long year!)
