She made her backpack into a toothless/light fury backpack

Kenna was here for her birthday!

Trying to be serious for the next 3 pics.  haha!

 Survivor finale.  Sam won!
Zach getting a real taste of what goes on in our house.  He is from a family of boys.

 Taco Time!
 At Grandma Kenyon's house:

We had a couple hours one night when the entire family was here.  Glad I thought to snap a picture!
 Portfolios are done!
Coleman chose to be baptized.  I was able to give the Holy Ghost talk.  We realized that all the Riding grandchildren, except for Natalie and Camryn (assuming she chooses to be baptized) will have been baptized in the same font in the Kent Stake Center.  Pretty crazy!
Allison dressed up as Dr. Suess for a history fair at the middle school.  She was one of the MC's of the show.  Sad I missed it!
 Another cute graduating preschool class
 Kaylee and Camryn
We went ice skating for Kenna's birthday:

We realized this was our first time ice skating together :)
We ran into the Molen's at the rink and Sawyer took Cam on a merry go round ride :)
My last Sunday with these cute Mia Maids

Laurel High Adventure

I had the opportunity to go on the Laurel High Adventure with my favorite adventure ladies, Michelle and Tami.  I was the cook, which I really do enjoy, but will admit with so many other things happening right before high adventure, I was a little stressed!  But it worked out and I had a great time with my friends and the 18 amazing laurels who came with us!

Just before we took off from the church
Our first adventure was hiking to Talapus Lake.  Just outside of Northbend. So beautiful!

When we finally made it to camp in Wenatchee, an hour a 40 minutes late b/c of a road closure and having to drive around through Moses Lake to get there, it was crazy windy and the dark clouds were coming.  Tents tried to fly away, we had to find a special spot to keep the wind away from the flame of my camp stove so I could actually get dinner going.  Then the rain came.  Sheets of rain.  Two tents didn't handle the rain and were already leaking.  One group moved their tent into the pavilion (thank goodness for the pavilion!) and one group just moved their sleeping pads and sleeping bags and slept on the ground in the pavilion.

The next morning was sunny and beautiful.  I got up and went for a walk in the sunshine, made breakfast.  We had scripture study and then got ready to go.  We even put on sunscreen before jumping in the cars to drive to Leavenworth for our rafting trip.  Turns out sunscreen was not a necessity.  It rained and then rained some more.  Luckily the guides had us put on wet suits and rain jackets or we would have been so frozen!  We were about 3/4 of the way done with the thunder and lighting got so bad that they actually had to pull us out of the water.  We had to evacuate our rafts and sit on our PFD's under a tree.  It was raining sheets of water, it was cold, and we were so wet.  The lighting was about 3 miles away (based on the see the flash count until you hear the boom method) so we were also a bit nervous. Some girls were really nervous.  A sweet older lady came out of her house just above where we were sitting and welcomed the large group of 50 (our group plus another youth group of some sort) to stand under her covered patio until the bus got there to pick us up.  The worst part was we didn't even get one rapid.  Not one.

Back at camp we had a relaxing afternoon (after a mad rush to get an early dinner cooked b/c we missed out on the BBQ the rafting company was going to give us).  We did smores, banana boats, made bracelets, and painted.

Savannah Cheney painted this rock.  I still can't get over how amazingly talented she is!
We made it and are ready to go home!
I was so glad I go the black off my pans!!!

Funny and/or Memorable moments:
Chest bumped into a raft
Cashews grow on trees
Maternity swim suits make you look pregnant even when you aren't
Deers can come out of no where and surprise you
Tires can fly off trailers and cause bad accidents
