Lake Cushman 2019

As always, we loved our weekend at the cabin and wish we could go every weekend.  Its just that much fun.

We finally stopped and took a picture of Kimber standing by this sign that we drive past every time we go to the cabin.  Hopefully this wasn't her last trip with us, but since she is off to college we just don't know what the future holds for her!

 Sawyer was using this branch as a roasting stick.  His marshmallow fell of 1 second before I snapped the picture :)

 It has been a long time since it rained while we hiked...we were pretty wet!

 So glad the sun came out!

 Aaron is into doing these crazy things like 1/2 Iron Mans and had to do some training.  Sam did the swim portion with him.  He was kind to stay with her.  She hadn't swam this far in years (like probably 6 years!)

 Mel taught me how to macramé while she worked on YW camp things.  Then she had to recreate her dream and make a giant version :)

 All the Harry Potter movies were watched this trip:

 The fairy house...Sawyer is pretty sure fairies aren't real, but he went along with Cam's plans anyways, just in case :)

 Mel brought a really cute bead kit and the kids all made something

 When you just want cucumbers, watermelon, and a banana for lunch :)

 Lot's of friendship bracelets were also made:

 Kimber, once again, made each one of us a bracelet!

Friends that are family are the best!

Sam Got Her Braces Off!

Camryn turns 6!

I am not sure why she keeps growing up, but she does.  We still love her to pieces though!

Tami made me an invitation to send out for her party.  She was having a Pajama party so we did a little photo shoot in her jammies :)

 She thought it was really weird that I decorated her stool.

 After I worked in her classroom (I went in every Tuesday for an hour) I took her home with me and we headed to Chuck E Cheeses to hang with her cousins.

 We opened presents that evening. We had to facetime Konrad b/c he was out of town for work.

 She wanted cookies of course :)

 Her birthday party was on May 10th.  We did a pajama party and had cereal for dinner and donuts for dessert.

 I was originally planning on doing big donuts stacked together to make a cake, but had dumped donut holes in this trifle dish for my preschool mother's day lunch and convinced Cam we should do the same for her party.  She thought it was a great idea :)

 We celebrated Camryn and Jackson's birthdays on Mother's Day (just like every other year!):

 This time she chose Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownie cookies for her dessert.  Jack chose rice krispy treats!

She loves dragons

she is a rule follower
She can only watch "learning shows" until she has done her shows and never cheats and watches "whatever she wants" if she hasn't done her chores
Her chores as cleaning her room, cleaning up any of her toys around the house, and reading for 20 minutes
She loves to snuggle and be tickle scratched
She has a hard time choosing between 2 fun things...it's like torture to her
She wants a pet really bad
She likes to breakfast foods all day every day (muffins, yogurt, cereal, waffles)
Her favorite food is probably cereal, but she will say its bananas
She takes crystal light to school b/c she doesn't like warm water, although 4 months ago she refused to drink cold water
She just got glasses b/c we discovered that her left eye really does not work.  She is currently being "patched" by having a blurry sticker placed on the glass lens of her right eye, forcing her left eye to work harder and teach the brain that she actually does have a left eye.  She's pretty cute in her glasses (this was written in July...she has had glasses for 1 month now).

Her favorite movie is probably a Barbie movie or the Greatest Showman
She does not like to pray.  At all. I mean her say the prayer, she is fine listening to them and won't eat dinner until we have prayed.
