After Corona hit there was a major shortage of Diet Mt. Dew (and some other diet soda's) but when I was in Boise they had TONS.  Konrad had wanted me to buy suitcases to bring it home.  He even did the math to see how many cans I could put in to keep it under 50 lbs.

it finally came out!!!

A yummy ice cream sandwich dessert...layers of ice cream sandwiches, oreos, coolwhip, hot fudge, and caramel.  Next time I'll crush the oreos though, they get pretty tricky to cut through once they've been frozen:

I got to be the "muscle" at my dads when he was pouring cement.  I had to lift the 50 pound bags and make cement :)

Welcome Home Oliver!

Oliver came home with us on August 28th.  Camryn and Kenzie came with us to pick him up.  He was not happy in the car for the last 30-40 minutes.  It was a long car ride!

The first weekend was pretty rough (for me!).  He was super chewy and kept attacking everyone's feet.  Especially Cam and Kenzie.  He would attack toes, shoe laces, and socks.  So we needed shoes that didn't have laces.  He did great as far as accidents go and sleeping through the night.  I struggled with the biting and the smell.  A few tears were shed.  Cam was a little disappointed b/c he was always trying to eat her so she couldn't play with him or cuddle him like she wanted.  

 Everyone (except me!) is so excited to have a dog!!!

A Trip to the Zoo

I decided to take Camryn to the zoo one day.  We don't do things like that very often and it makes me sad b/c her sisters got to do all kinds of stuff like that.  Zoos, children museums, weekly playdates, story times, etc.  It was a perfect day for the zoo.  Not super crowded (due to covid we had to sign up for a time to go) and the weather was perfect.  Not too hot, not cold in the shade.  Perfect!
