Allison's Winter Soccer Season - Brrrrr!

This girl is tough.  I don't know that I love anything enough to practice and play in wintery conditions!

Her first game:

 2nd game and she scored. The first score of the season for her and the team!

 They had a game on Valentine's Day.  We lucked out that time and could watch from the car :)

 This game was 2 days ago.  Allison was on fire.  She had 3 goals!  She is still the only person to score on the team.  Its also fun to hear her take charge and talk to her teammates...encouraging them, checking in on them, and telling them where to move.

Didn't take a picture of today's game.  It was freezing cold and pouring rain.  I sat there under an umbrella and 2 blankets and was still cold.  The girls had shorts and a t-shirt on.  Crazy sauce!  Allison took a ball to the face and had to leave the field b/c her nose started bleeding.  I had to run to my moms car to get some extra tissue b/c I could tell the coach wasn't struggling finding some. We also had to get the blood washed off her hands so that she could play again.  It was pretty exciting :)

She has one more game.  Then it will be on to volleyball.  Nice indoor volleyball :)

New Beginnings - Walk With Christ

We had our New Beginnings last night and it was amazing like usual.  Our YW group is amazing, so they always make things like this amazing.  Can I say amazing one more time?!?

Kimber was the photographer and did a great job!

She also made this sign for my dessert table.  I love being the dessert person!

 Chocolate dipped marshmallows.  Dipped in graham cracker crumbs or sprinkles.  So easy and so yummy!

 Can't believe Kaya gets to join us in YW this year!  We are so excited.  Poor thing has to wait until December though...

Snow Part 2

Snow!!

We had a week of snow and loved it all.  This was Sunday morning when we woke up.  

 And then it started coming down more...

 By the time it was ready to leave for church it was really coming down.  Normally we would have just stayed home and enjoyed a snow day from church, but I was speaking in sacrament meeting and wanted to get there if I could.  It took us a minute or two to get up our driveway and down our street, but then when we hit the main roads it wasn't too bad.

 I texted my mom this picture to show her what was going on.  Her and my dad were in Texas that weekend.

 The snow stopped coming down when we got home from church (we left after sacrament meeting)

 This was taking later that week on Wednesday morning after I picked up Sam and Ruby from seminary.  We drove over to the Bankers bridge to check out the sunrise.

 Wednesday it snowed on and off all day.  Tiny little flakes that didn't really amount to anything.  Around 6 it started sticking.  I had a late volleyball game that night.  When we left it was covering the driveway and some of the roads. When we came home we drove through crazy snow.  The picture below is from right after we got home.  So much snow.  So glad Konrad was driving, or I wouldn't have been able to go play.  I don't drive in the snow!  Steph ended up not making it down to the game, but everyone else braved the roads.  We were all terrified driving home, but everyone made it home safely (we were texting to check on everyone).

 The next day, Thursday, was a snow day from school.

 The girls had a good time sledding down the driveway for awhile.
