Solar Eclipse

There was a rare solar eclipse and we were able to see it.  Konrad and Allison decided to drive down to Oregon so they could be in "totality", while the rest of us just stayed here and watched.

Luckily Konrad picked up some approved glasses at 7-11

 Cam had to hold them against her face to keep her eyes fully protected.

 What we saw through the glasses:

 Cool eclipse shaped shadows on the ground.  So so cool.

Sam's Bedroom Makeover

For her birthday Sam wanted to redecorate her bedroom.  She got a lot of money and gift cards from us and the rest of the extended family.   She was then able to pick out all the things she wanted.  It was fun!

Cordelaine, Idaho

After the Riding Reunion, the Dances and us went to Cordelaine so that we could go to Silverwood.

It was a great finish to our 2+ week vacation.  Fun at an amusement park with the Dances, and then a couple days with just our family to finish it off.  We had renters in our house so we couldn't go home until they were gone...that meant a few more days on vacay!

We fell in love with Cordelaine the moment we saw this lake and the mountains surrounding it.  We hit the beach at dusk.  It was great.

We spent the next day at Silverwood.  Everyone had a great time.  We did rides, followed by water, followed by a few more rides.

The next day we spent at the lake.  Cam was super excited to build a sand castle.

On the way out of town we stopped at Gross Donut to get a treat.  Cam was a little confused as to why they were called gross donuts when they were "wactually" really good.

We sold the Tesla.  This was the day we drove it to it's new owners.  I had a much harder time parting with "Konrad's" car than he did.  I really loved that car :)

 I made Clare come with me to our high school reunion.  It was fun to see the people that were there.  She wasn't so sure about going, but was a good sport :)
