Cancun Day's 1-2 (Cancun, Mexico)

Our plane left at 7:15 so it was an early start to the day, leaving my parents house at 4:45.  The girls crashed for a bit on the plane.

Our cute little welcome in our room.
I loved the courtyard outside our hotel door
and the sunset was gorgeous!
We didn't find food we loved at the buffet, but we didn't find some desserts that were okay :)

Waiting to get Sam and Morgan checked in.  That was an adventure b/c they put them in a room that was not well chair accessible and it took an hour to find them somewhere that would work for them.  Kimber and JJ missed their flight that morning so they didn't get in until the next morning.  They took a red-eye from California.
I still can't get over the color of the water in Cancun.  So so beautiful!  So glad Sam and Morgan were able to make it.  with all of Sam's health conditions happening I was nervous they wouldn't make it, but they did and they seemed to do so well.  I was so happy!
alli made a pillow out of sand so she could tan in while we were hanging out down there.
I loved playing games pool side with Sam, Morgan, and anyone else we could convince to play with us.
We met everyone, even Kimber and JJ who had slept all day long, for sunset before heading to our New Year's Eve dinner :)
So happy to be all together!

Ooh, now I remember that we met up with Sam and Morgan on the way to dinner, they didn't' make it down for the sunset.  This was when I was so happy to all be together!
This was the best dessert of the week and I was sad to only get it once.
They passed out headbands and hats for New Years
Cam fell in love with Pina Colada's this trip
The cookies turned us colors

The New Years Eve party dance floor
Now she's dressed to party!

Sam wanted a break from the chaos so we headed down to the beach for a bit.
Then we went back and danced until Sam came and got us and asked if we wanted to play games for a bit b/c they were overstimulated with the party.  We said sure and went to play garbage.

We headed back to the party around 11:00, but realized we should have waited a bit longer b/c Cam and I lost our mojo around 11:30, but no worries, we pressed on :)
They handed out grapes for us to eat at midnight to make our resolutions with.  I just made one big resolution, not realizing I was supposed to make one for each grape that I ate.  Cam is the only one that followed the rules.  I hope her dreams come true!

The fireworks were so pretty
but once the smoke started settling in Cam had a panic attack and her and I had to bolt away from the party to help her feel safe.
We went back down once the fireworks were done and she was so jealous to see that they had handed out balloons while we were gone.
Luckily she got one before we left (probably from one of her sisters)

It was a fun night. One of our favorite New Years Eve's to date!

Home for the Holidays (Lake Tapps, Washington)

I was so excited to surprise my friends at church the first Sunday we were there.  They weren't expecting me to be home until Thursday so seeing their faces and giving them giant hugs when they saw me sitting in a pew was my favorite (even if it was a little irreverant to hug during Sacrament meeting :)).  It was so good to back with these ladies and so many others who I got to visit with that day.

We had Kenzie take an our day picture.  We had a blast surprising the Dance's as well when they showed up to my parents house from Sunday dinner.  The looks on their faces were so fun!  They walked in one by one so we had to shush them before they spoiled it for everyone else.  First Jack, then Colin, then Kenz, then Steph and Jo and Doug came in together.
We had to go home to get some things from the garage (mostly cold weather clothing) and we were so excited to see some deer in a neighbor's yard.
We were so glad to squeeze in a date night with these guys before the Molen's left for Costa Rica.  We tried out a yummy new to us Thai place by the Supermall.  It was pretty yummy and being with these guys was the best!
We squeezed in a hang out sesh with the posse and new baby Cory.  He is the best and I enjoyed holding him for a very long time while we were visiting.
Cam was able to attend a few activity day activities while we were home.
Loving my suitcase with all the stickers we are adding from all of the places we have been
alli went ice skating with MaKayla, Shayla, and Kelsi
Ornament Party success!!  It was short and sweet but so much fun.  So glad my mom was willing to host!
alli had so many friends come!  and even more that were invited but couldn't make it.

Konrad and I were able to attend the Crowley's Christmas party and looked longingly down the channel towards our house :)
Sean beat Konrad in ping pong!
Camryn got all of these clips from grandma and grandpa Crabtree!
Klara's parents ended up with covid over the break so their time together didn't look like they thought it would, but we finally said screw it and let them hang out.  So glad we did and no one extra got sick so it was perfectly fine!
Klara made Cam this shirt and I love it!  They met on the bus when they used to draw pictures together and now their favorite things is Dairy freeze shakes and fries and they call themself Klaryn :)
Cam had a couple of playdates with Zayah

We made it to Sumalee for our favorite Thai food dish, pineapple curry and Thai tea

I got to see Darcy
and Rebecca
These guys went shopping

I saw Cari at church the Sunday before we left and I was glad.   She was my one person I hadn't hugged yet.
One last Sunday with the Dances and my parents.
It was so good to be home for a bit and see our people, remove some things from our luggage, and restock some things in our luggage.  Next stop is Cancun with all the kids!!!
