Fun with Family

We spent every second we could with the Riding fam while Michelle, Richard, and girls were here.
We did 6-1,000 piece puzzles.  One of them we did in 1 hour and 15 minutes! (not this one, this one was tricky!)
Cam loves Grandpa's Grinch head.  We thought it was pretty funny on her big stuffed owl she bought!
  We went roller skating:

Some people took naps while others played games:
 Celebrated New Years Eve:

This attempt at a sleepover for Cam didn't work, she bailed before we left and came home with us.  It was past midnight and she was too sleepy to think clearly.
We also ate at Taco Time (twice), CafĂ© Rio (some people twice), Puerta Vallarta, Hop Jacks (both the last two were date nights).  We played Code Names, Spontuneous, Who What Where, Hearts, Nertz, Golf, 60 Second ABC game, and Slapzi.  Many movies were watched, many episodes of America's Got Talent, and a lot of football.  It was a great week full of family fun.  Our favorite!

Random Pictures from December

Kimber was hilarious when she discovered that our Ho Ho Ho signs were Oh Oh Oh from the back.  Her laugh is simply the best!
Cam was looking really big this particular Sunday.  This is also her new favorite outfit to wear to church.  She always wants a skirt and shirt, not a dress.
We scored a Chia Pet at our white elephant party.  Its been pretty fun to have!

 She is seriously the cutest!
Allison played on the JV team at Lakeridge.  I loved watching her play!

 These were amazing!!!
A firsts for me.  Burned dinner and then a melted cutting board from trying to salvage the burnt chicken.  Konrad hadn't realized I had moved the pan to a different burner, which means the one he put his board on was super hot.  Oops!

Konrad kicked my trash at Rummy-O
My Dad in his Grinch attire:
Found this picture of Kimber and I.  I can't believe how young I look!
We were watching Survivor and I looked over and Sam had crashed.  She slept just like this for a good 45 minutes.
Kimber's Spartonix group was amazing at their Holiday Concert!

Such a fun lunch with my Covington ladies!
And then a fun breakfast with my Lake Tapps ladies! (I just love little Brynn, whom I'm holding in this pic, she loves to snuggle and I'm always willing to accept those snuggles!)
Sam is doing gymnastics again this year:
Ornaments and candy canes for the YW at church to remind them to continue to "Light the World"
The Molen's candy caned our house :)

Cam got a cake in a mug kit for Christmas and had to try it out.  She ate a few bites, but I ended up finishing it.
My cute class the day of our Holiday Party
What a fun month full of awesomeness!

Camryn's Art Work

I'm going to start trying to post pictures of her artwork here so that we don't have to save all the real copies.  Who am I kidding, we will still save most of them.  They are just too cute!

Every month Mrs. Norton has the class draw a pic of themselves.  I'm excited to see them all at the end of the year and compare :)

This is Cam playing catch with her puppy dog.  That is James the Elf hanging on the mistletoe by the stairs, where he happened to be that day.  I think it was memorable (this is her journal entry from school about what she did that weekend) b/c she thought she hit James with her puppy and when she couldn't find him the next day (James hides somewhere new each morning) she thought he had went back to the North Pole b/c he lost his magic (we aren't allowed to touch him).  Luckily he had just found a good spot to hide and was still around until Christmas.

The top part of this one is 1,2 buckle my shoe, 3,4 shut the door, 5,6 pick up sticks, 7,8, lay them straight, 9, 10 a big fat hen :)
She recently discovered liquid glue and was slightly obsessed for awhile.  Many buttons and gems were used in a two week period.

Christmas Day

I, as usual, was up and ready before the girls were.

The hardest part of Ian having a stocking is the sadness of leaving it hanging up by its lonesome Christmas morning.
 It was a gorgeous morning!
We woke up Allison once Grandma and Grandpa Crabtree showed up.  Luckily Santa brought the girls some presents b/c we counted the cruise for all other Christmas presents!

We had French toast and bacon for breakfast:
Cam stuffed animals kept her hatchimal warm while she ate breakfast:

We went to over to the Crabtree's for more presents and Christmas dinner.  Oh and of course we played games.

 Cam's new outfit from Grandma:

Grandpa was being funny and set Kimber's "spot" with huge silverware.  But then Kimber decided Cam should sit there b/c she was smaller.  Cam thought the silverware was pretty awesome.
Our fun popper things had all kinds of treasures in them.  Including these rings from a ring toss game and the cute crowns:
