Monday we stuck to our beach and got some Matsumoto's. Getting shave ice was a 3 hour adventure, but what else did we need to be doing?!?! Nothing :)
Kimber had the unfortunate opportunity of being pooped on by a bird while we were eating our shave ice. Not sure which was worse....the hair, the shirt, or the pooped on shave ice??? So sad. Luckily they replaced it :)

I walked on the streets, man walking in shoes and on flat ground is pretty amazing...not quite as beautiful as walking along the beach, but oh so comfy on the feet :), that morning and enjoyed walking to the temple.

Tuesday we started out the day at Waimea. We left our house around 8:15 so we could get a parking spot. The girls were done jumping by 10:00, but everyone else seemed to want to stick around for a bit, so we did. Sam and Allison thought they were being tortured by having to stay :)
We attempted to stop at Ted's Bakery to get donuts, but when we stopped the menu didn't say that they had them, so we jumped back in the car and stopped and got churros at the Beach Bus in Kahuku instead.
We spent the afternoon in the back yard :)
Wednesday we did the swap meet at Aloha stadium followed by lunch at Teddy's Burgers:
Sam found a gecko in the house that she called Fish (b/c up until we left for hawaii she had a fish named Gecko) and he was so cute!
Date night in Kahuku again :)
Konrad has had to work quite a bit this trip and this morning within 10 minutes I saw him working in the car, at the picnic tables, in the little chairs in the back yard, and at the kitchen table. The rain and wind kept coming and going making him relocate! Unfortunately the wifi doesn't work well enough in our room for him to work in there.
Sam had the unfortunate experience of walking into Kimber's open drawer (Kimber is keeping her clothes in the kitchen drawers in our unit) and it was very hard on her....
Kimber put some lipgloss on the owie and it helped her leg AND her lips :)
We also found the tiniest gecko in our cottage....
Thursday the girls pretended to trade fidgits like they see on tiktok:

We got the Wii hooked up and got our sweat on!
The first ever all girl hearts game AND we got mom to play :)
Friday was a Costco/Walmart day for the moms. I spent quite a bit of time looking for GF items for Kimber. We found a few and did a lot of texting back and forth :)
Konrad had an in-person appointment in Honolulu. He borrowed Richards shoes to complete the outfit :)
We bought a surf board at Costco and these two were excited to try it out.
2 baskets full at Costco this time around (we've had 5 total)

Saturday we headed to Sharks Cove, leaving our house just after 8:00 to get parking.
Then we headed to Matsumoto's for shave ice, yes again :) Al's friend Madi is here for a week so her dad brought her to us and she got to spend the afternoon with us
We both added vanilla to our banana coconut this time. I wasn't to fond of the greenish/brownish the blue and orange made...might not be able to get that one again.

Pipeline is great for spectators....not much reading happened during this beach trip:

These two, and Paxton (one of the Kenyon's friends who is here to see them), kept diving down the sand hill trying to make it all the way to the water. So gross.
After pipeline Madi was picked up and we headed back here. Cam wanted to swim some more so I took her to our beach where she played with a little 4 year old local girl who was so excited to see a little girl come down to the beach.
The Olympics have started!!!
Sunday we went to church at 9:30 and then went on an adventure.
We started at the Pali Lookout spot where it was so pretty and so windy.
The we headed back down the mountain and hiked to the Likeke Falls
It was a short muddy hike with a decent waterfall at the end...we called it a win!
I jokingly told Konrad to carve our initials in a tree (there were quite a few in one area) he said he wouldn't want to hurt nature, so I laughed when I saw this in the tree...
