Monster Mash

The girls decided to be a:
Lollipop Girl:
 A stick girl:
A lady bug:
And a cheerleader.  As a side note...I wore this uniform as a senior in high school how do I have a child old enough to fit into it?  Oh yeah, b/c I'm old :)
Oh and Alissa was here and she was an 80's chick:

Can't wait for the rest of Halloween!

Special Friends

Over the last few months our ward has changed.  We have had some very dear friends move out and we are trying to adjust.  Some friends are still in the area, while others are out of state.  Change is hard.

Some of those friends came for a visit and the girls got to spend time with them while they were here.  We are grateful that they made us fit into their schedule.  My girls love these girls and every second together is cherished.

Allison and Abella:
 Atalie and Samantha:
And apparently they had a little photo-shoot:

Kimber and Abbie:

Can't wait for the next time...

Kimber is 14

Our cute girl turned 14 a couple of weeks ago.

Birthday donuts of course:
Photo bombed by dad during her birthday dinner.  She chose to eat at home and have "mashed potatoes, cheese, and corn" her favorite meal of all time.  We added in some chicken and gravy for the rest of the family (grandpa Crabtree and both Riding grandparents were here too).
  Time for presents:

 And brownies with ice cream:

After dinner we had to rush off to mutual and my volleyball game.

Saturday Kimber had her birthday party.  She wanted to have breakfast and hang out.  We had lots of treats:  donut holes, pumpkin cookies (similar to a muffin, right?), cake pops, fruit kabobs, apples, fruit dip, white chocolate strawberries, and French toast.
 Italian sodas to drink:
Sam wanted to photo-bomb the donut holes:
Kimber and her friends (Kimber, Kelly, Emily, Abbie L., Alex, Aleigha, Haylee, Nichole, Ariana, Abbie O., and Jenna):
I convinced her to let me do 2 games.  The first game is to stick stickers with your name on them on your back.  The goal is to collect 1 sticker from each person to win the game.  I figured this would take awhile and that the girls would be sneaky about it through out the rest of the party.  Boy was I wrong.  It turned into a wrestling match.  Pretty funny.

The other game was called "Thief"  I put a basket of prizes in the center and handed them each 2 playing cards.  Then I went through a different deck of cards and when they had a card matching the one I was showing they could pick a prize and hide it behind their back.  After they each had 2 prizes we dealt all the cards and this time when they had a matching card they could steal a prize from someone else.  If they guessed incorrectly they had to give the person one of their prizes.  I think it went okay.  All though I realized that none of them like Honeybuns, which my girls all love.  Who knew?
We sang happy birthday and she blew out her candle:

 She got some awesome gifts:

Allison came at the very end from a very wet soccer game....
Happy Birthday Kimber.  I hope you had a great week and felt the love we all have for you.  You are one special girl and I'm excited to watch you grow-up and become even more special as the years pass.  I'll love you forever and ALWAYS.  Thanks for being my favorite 14 year old!

15 Years With My Best Friend

1999 - At our Open House in Utah on our Wedding Day
2000 - Crabtree Family Reunion 7 months pregnant with Kimberlynn
 2001 - My cousin Julie's wedding day
2002 - My graduation from BYU
2003 - My cousin Kallie's wedding.  7 months pregnant with Samantha.  As happy as I was to be there to support Kallie, I still can't believe I had to wear this huge black tent of a dress and all her other bridesmaids were in cute dresses.  I must really love you Kallie :)
2004 - Our first big trip away from the girls.  We went on an Eastern Caribbean cruise to celebrate our upcoming 5th anniversary.  We left Kimber and Sam home with my mom, Steph, and probably Michelle to watch them.  Samantha was in the hospital for 4 days prior to us leaving.  She got out on a Thursday, we left Friday morning.  Craziness!  (she had what they ended up labeling "a fever virus" - basically she had a fever and that's it, but they wouldn't let her leave until the fever broke)
2005 - Stephanie and Doug's wedding.  5 months pregnant with Allison
2006 - Easter Sunday at my parents
 2007 - a waterfall hike in Oregon
2008 -  Williams family reunion on the coast in Oregon
2009 - I'm pretty sure this is in San Diego.  Konrad had business down there and I went with him
2010 - Business trip to New York and a picture from a hike at the Cabin:

2011 - At our son's funeral and in Anaheim where we spent Spring Break after Ian died, trying to get away from the week he was supposed to be born.

2012 - Leavenworth at Christmas time
 2013 - Introducing Camryn
2014 - The Rock of Gibraltar

Thanks for all the great memories Konrad.  It was fun looking back through the last 15 years of our lives.  We've been through good things and bad things, happy times and sad times, and I'm so glad I've had you by my side for all of it.

Happy Anniversary!  Love you!
