Cam's doctor heard an irregular heart beat and so she hooked her up to an EKG so we could get a reading of what was going on. It did in fact show that her heartbeat wasn't quite normal and so we scheduled an appointment with a cardiologist and did some more testing.  Luckily while there was a slight irregularity it appears it is nothing we need to be concerned about.  

Cam went with freshly purple-d hair to Zayahs and I was worried it would bleed onto their things so Tashi wrapped her up in a hair towel and she was good to go!

RS Kits and Fits activity!  We made kits for a homeless shelter and brought our unwanted clothing to swap and then we donated the extra clothes to a couple of women's shelters

Lily asked me to cut her hair and Mel said okay so we went with it.  Regular scissors and all!

The guys helped this kid who fell from a log to rocks about 10 feet below.  Konrad and Aaron ended up in the right spot at the right time b/c Sawyer was feeling stuck on a log (the same log the boy ended up falling from) and asked Cam to go get Aaron and after doing that she asked Konrad to come and climb with her.  Right as they entered the area Konrad saw the boy slip and he was headed right towards Aaron so he called out to Aaron, who happened to look up right as he was falling.  After the boy bounced and then tried to stand up he started falling again and Aaron grabbed him right before he fell head first into a hole.  The guys helped him back to the trail and then Aaron cleaned him up and we explained to them how to get back to their car.  He was knocked out for a bit and it took him a bit to become fully aware of what was going on.  We did end up meeting back up with them on the trail and walking the rest of the way out with them.  Aaron ran ahead to get a park ranger (b/c the boy they sent to get one couldn't find one) and then stayed with the boys and the ranger until an ambulance got there.  It was pretty scary and all of us were pretty shook up about it.  Alli and Kaya almost passed out and Sawyer needed some convincing to come down from the rock.  He was also concerned it was his fault b/c he was blocking the log so the boy couldn't cross, we tried to help him realize he saved the day by asking for help at just the right moment!

These two had fun exploring the neighborhood on foot and scooter and then they came across a garage sale where the people gave them a bike, helmet, and toys.  then they went and got more and Aaron made them take it all back b/c it was just trash or stuff they couldn't use at the cabin (like a seed spreader :)). They did get lost at one point but Konrad went and rescued them.  

She is an expert mallow roaster!

Every year Sawyer worries that I'm not going to bring enough ketchup so I texted and asked him which one I should bring to the cabin :) Mel said he had just asked her about the ketchup situation right before I texted.  It's a real concern for that boy!!!
