Day 14b: Sydney, Australia

After climbing the pylon we walked to back to Circular Quay to catch a bus to Bondi beach.  On the way to the bus we ran into these boys doing this crazy stupid jump on their skateboards.  We sat there for a good 10+ minutes watching them.  It took them awhile to finally do it and it was crazy when they did.

After this fall he struggled to get up...once he was on his feet we took off.  I didn't want to stick around for him to crack his head open.  No helmets.  Crazy.

Bondi Beach did not disappoint.  Probably one of my favorite top 3 beaches I've ever visited.  It was amazing.
They had some awesome graffiti-art (the two guys in the picture are the artists of this painting):

 When we first saw this view of the ocean and those cute buildings I decided I wanted to live in one of them.  But by the end I decided I would live across from those houses so I could look at this view.  Loved it!!!

After Bondi Beach we headed back to the Circular Quay.  We ate at Pancakes on the Rocks (was okay, but not awesome) and then took one more walk around town (Darin's phone said we walked about 8 miles today...)

 What an amazing trip.  It's been so much fun and I am so grateful we got to go with Darin and Tami.  I won't lie though...can't wait to see my kids!

Day 14a: Sydney, Australia

Today was a busy day!

I decided I really could not leave Australia without seeing some of their wildlife.  We looked into going to a koala sanctuary, but the cost of a taxi to get there was going to be too much.  As we were going to look into taking a train/bus Tami reminded us that there was a Wildlife Park here in the city.
So we hopped on a free bus to see these cute guys:

After the Wildlife park we walked to the Sydney Harbor bridge so we could climb up the pylon to see the view of the harbor.  This may not of been as cool as actually climbing the bridge but it was hundreds of dollars cheaper to do it this way :)
